    General information:

    Dan is an orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine. He has been a faculty member and team physician for the University of New Mexico since 1991. He is currently Vice-Chairman of the Orthopaedic Department and the Director of the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship. In 2015-16 he took a one-year sabbatical to study and collaborate with the Lyon School of Knee Surgery. He has lectured extensively on sports medicine topics in the United States and on every continent. He has provided team coverage for a wide variety of amateur, collegiate and professional sports teams.
